M5L1 : References and Inspiration

In this 5-minute introductory video, JC from CWC+ talks about various ways to get inspiration in order to kickstart your own design process.

Dribbble

One website he uses is Dribbble.com – don’t be like me and spell that “Dribble.com” just because you heard him say “Dribble.com”.

Dribbble heavily-pushes “login with Google” so, if that’s something you do, you’ll have an easy time setting up an account. Once I figured out how to get rid of that box, I was able to set up an account as normal.

It doesn’t appear that Dibbble’s search routine is particularly specific. If you type in a specific phrase that it doesn’t recognise, you get back a tumult of its “best guess” – a load of stuff you may think relates to your search but just doesn’t. I’m sure it’ll be useful once I get the hang of it, though.
